A method of calculating an intermediate point between known points according to an algorithm is also called “densification of data points”.
According to the information of the input part program, the numerical control device densifies the space between the start point and the end point of the curve described by the program segment, thereby forming a required contour trajectory, and the “data densification” function is called “interpolation.”
